Belarusbank may provide interbank export financing as part of the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 25.08.2006 No. 534 «On promoting the development of exports of goods (works, services)».
A prerequisite for considering export financing is obtaining the following:
- consent to provide insurance coverage for export risks by Eximgarant of Belarus or another company established to carry out insurance business and licensed to carry out insurance business with a fixed equity capital of at least 25 million Belarusian rubles;
- written information of the Ministry of Finance on the possibility of compensating losses to the bank in export financing (taking into account the requirements of the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 04.05.2021 No. 260/5).
The cost of government-supported financing is determined by Decree No. 534.
