Belarusbank and Eximbank of Russia signed frame loan agreement

Belarusbank and State Specialized Russian Export-Import Bank (joint-stock company) (Eximbank of Russia) have signed a framework loan agreement that stipulates order of granting loans for financing joint Belarusian and Russian projects. The Agreement is aimed at simplification and optimization of procedure of Russian products and services export financing to the Republic of Belarus on beneficial terms for Belarusbank’s clients.

First deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Belarusbank Aliaksandr Paliuka noticed: «Successful cooperation of Belarusbank and Eximbank of Russia started in 2008 when financing of  the first projects for Russian export to Belarus was realized. We are assured in continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between our banks».

At present Belarusbank together with Eximbank of Russia is financing number of projects including those in energetics. Several perspective deals are being developed.

«Frame loan agreement signing – is a new stage of cooperation between our banks opening the whole range of possibilities to support joint foreign-trade deals. This agreement is a result of well-coordinated work of Belarusbank’s and Eximbank’s of Russia teams that will help to increase Russian goods export to the Republic of Belarus in perspective», - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Eximbank of Russia Roman Smagin commented.

For reference: Eximbank of Russia is a development institute. Its activity is directed to stimulation and support of Russian export. Eximbank of Russia services different non-commodity exporters including companies that are realizing the largest projects. The Bank is a part of the Russian Export Center Group.
