On July 2 Belarus is going to welcome the participants of a large-scale regional cooperation and development forum that Беларусь will be conducted in the framework of the Belt and Road initiative. The bank acts as a co-organizer of the forum.
The forum will gather representatives of the public sector, business and international experts who will come to discuss Great Stone industrial park as an example of global cooperation and investment opportunities. Top executives of Belarusbank are planning to participate in panel discussions.
Shortly before the forum on June 30 there will open an exhibition of Belarusian and Chinese goods and services. 105 companies from China and 74 Belarusian enterprises are expected to participate in the exhibition.
Organizers expect the forum to bring new residents and investments to the industrial park. They are planning to conduct the event biannually on a regular basis.
In April a delegation of Belarusbank headed by Chairman of the Board Viktar Ananich took part in the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing. During the visit there was signed a loan agreement with China Development bank for the provision of EUR 100 million to Belarusbank.
