Belarusbank has been named the official partner of Kastrycnicky Ekanamicny Forum (“October Economic Forum”) KEF-2018 that will be held in Minsk on November 5-6. The forum is the leading economic event of its kind in Belarus.
This year’s conference is titled “Belarus in a Brave New World”. Topics to be discussed include WTO accession, IT development prospects, challenges of structural reforms and ways to enhance the competitive strength of Belarus. “The forum is expected to deepen the dialogue between Belarusian authorities and foreign financial institutions, the European Union and independent experts, - says Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Sergey Melnik. – Taking into account substantial developments in the external environment, any transformation process should include various aspects, from efforts to maintain macroeconomic balance and enhance the competitive ability of the economy to generation of positive expectations from future changes and maintenance of social stability. Belarusbank considers the support of such dialogue extremely important.”
