Belarusbank, Belarus’ government representatives visit Germany, France to discuss investments

Representatives of Belarusbank together with members of Belarusian government agencies had a number of meetings in Germany and France on November 27 and 28, 2018. The meetings were dedicated to the expansion of bilateral trade relations. In particular, the Belarusian side was represented by Minister of Finance Maksim Yermolovich, Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Viktar Ananich, officials from the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance.

Meetings with the Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and Chief Economist of the Treasury of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance focused on new ways to facilitate mutual trade and bring German and French investments to the Belarusian economy.

A meeting with Société Générale in Paris was dedicated to the expansion of the range of banking services, in particular, services connected with trade with third countries.

Foreign partners expressed a vivid interest in bilateral meetings which resulted in a number of agreements.
