Belarusbank is attracting a guaranteed loan from the People’s Republic of China. The respective agreement was signed on March 1, 2017 in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. On behalf of Belarusbank the document was signed by Executive Director Victor Perepelitsa.
The borrowed resources in the amount of $100 million are being granted by one of the largest state banks of China – China Development bank Corporation. The long-term guaranteed loan with a 3-year tenor will be used to finance the current activities of Belarusbank.
“For Belarusian commercial banks working with Chinese partners, this loan is an unprecedented one for the reason of its utilization. The conclusion of the agreement under such conditions is a major event, and we regard it as the new stage of cooperation with CDB”, Victor Perepelitsa said.
