Belarusbank, Russia’s Roseximbank sign Master Cooperation Agreement

Belarusbank and Russia’s Roseximbank signed a master cooperation agreement within the framework of the Second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia on September 17, 2015 in Sochi. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Chairman of the Upper Chamber of the Belarusian Parliament Mikhail Myasnikovich and his Russian counterpart Valentina Matviyenko.

The agreement was signed by Belarusbank Chairman of the Board Siarhei Pisaryk on the part of the Belarusian party. The Russian party was represented by Roseximbank Chairman of the Board Dmitry Golovanov.

The agreement will enable the banks to finance joint projects on special terms. It can serve as a proof of a new level of interbank cooperation and deeper integration of the two economies: ”Belarus is a transit country with an open economy, which is located at the crossroads of trade routes. Belarusbank, in turn, has a unique experience of state infrastructure and business projects. The further development of mutually beneficial relations is an integral part of Belarusbank’s international business strategy”, - Siarhei Pisaryk noted.
