Belarusbank and China Development Bank Corporation signed a facility agreement to the tune of $300 million.
The funds will be used to finance Belarus-China investment projects that will be carried out in the territory of Belarus. The projects will belong to various sectors of economy, including transport, power engineering, industry, small and medium business and other sectors. They will be funded regardless of their scale or ownership.
The loan facility was granted on terms which are favorable both for Belarusbank and Belarus as a whole.

“We find it very important that the facility agreement is signed during the visit of Chinese leader Xi Jinping to Belarus. It is a vivid proof of the fact that our bilateral relations with China Development Bank Corporation have reached a new level, and it will contribute to the further attainment of mutual benefits”, Siarhei Pisaryk said during the signing ceremony.
