Global Finance magazine has named Belarusbank the best Belarusian bank of the developing markets of the Central and Eastern Europe in 2015. It is the 4th time that the bank wins this honorary title.
Global Finance bank rating has been annually published for 22 years. The rating is composed following consultations with banking analysts, finance directors and bank consultants all over the world. Fore more accurate results, Global Finance also conducts a poll of its corporate readers.
In the latest contest the magazine chose the winner out of 21 banks of the Central and Easter Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, considering such criteria as asset growth, profitability, long-term strategy, customer service, competitive strength and innovative products.
Commenting on the title, Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Siarhei Pisaryk said that it is a big honor for the bank to be on top of the respectable international rating: “The title proves the bank’s flawless reputation on the international finance markets. It is the recognition of our success and leadership, as well as an impetus for further growth”.
Global Finance makes ratings in several spheres of economic activity, including the banking sector, taking into account the company’s market position, the use of innovative business solutions, and the existence of a long-term development strategy.
