Representatives of the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP, the Czech Republic) met with the top management of Belarusbank. Greeting the delegation, Belarusbank Chairman of the Board Siarhei Pisaryk noted that the bank’s relationship with the Czech partners had reached a new level. “It is important to further strengthen this trend and give a fresh impetus to our relations”, he said. In his words, the total value of bilateral projects insured by EGAP throughout the history of cooperation is over EUR 180 million. “We have an opportunity to further increase this volume, taking into account the stable situation in Belarus and the flawless reputation of Belarusbank”, he said.

In turn, EGAP CEO Jan Prochazka noted that Belarus is an important partner of the Czech Republic, and Belarusbank is the leading bank of the country. He also reported that the credit line for Belarus had been considerably expanded.

The parties discussed the prospects of further cooperation and a number of potential bilateral projects.
