For the first time Belarusbank enters Top 400 largest World Banks

The Banker, a well-known international edition of the banking industry and financial markets, published its annual rating of "Top 1000 World Banks".

According to the 2013 review Belarusbank was recognized the bank number 1 in the Republic of Belarus as to the size of tier I capital. On a global scale Belarusbank has improved its position from 412 to 399 still remaining the only Belarusian bank in the upper part of the rating. Also Belarusbank ranked 14th among 25 largest banks in Central and Eastern Europe as to the size of tier I capital.
