The Signing ceremony in honor of US$ 130,000,000 Dual Tranche Trade -Related Syndicated Term Loan Facility successful realization was held in Minsk on the 28 th of March, 2012.
The following banks acted as Arrangers of the facility: JSC Alfa-Bank, JSC Globex Commercial bank, KIT Finance Investment Bank, JSCB Novikombank, OJSC Promsvyazbank, JSC Rosevrobank, Russian Agricultural Bank, Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk JSC and a number of European financial institutions, including Banque de Commerce et de Placements SA (Switzerland), PPF Banka a.s. (Czech Republic) and other foreign banks. Bayerische Landesbank (Germany) acted as Agent.
Belarusbank was the first among Belarusian financial institutions to enter international debt capital market in 2012 with such a large-scale transaction.
Granting of a significant amount of foreign funds on a flat basis to the largest bank in the Republic of Belarus demonstrates the unlimited trust of foreign investors to Belarusbank.
One of the arrangers noted that Belarusbank is one of the most recognizable Belarusian brands on international financial market with a reputation of a reliable business partner.
In 2006 the bank had its debut deal on the international financial market, and the current syndicated loan is another (eighth) major transaction. Since 2006 Belarusbank has attracted over US$ 7 billion of foreign funds, including US$ 630 million of syndicated loans.
