The Banker announced names of banks-winners of a prestige award «The Best Bank
of the Year 2010». The heads from leading banks from more than 100 countries
participated in the Awards Ceremony. Belarusbank was named as "The Bank of the
Year in Belarus".
This reward confirms the recognition of Belarusbank achievements and selected
strategy on international and local financial markets by world financial
society.
In 2010 Belarusbank has been already recognized as the best bank in Belarus by international financial magazines as Euromoney, Global Finance, emeafinance and Business New Europe.
The Banker is a world leading monthly magazine on banking, finance and DCM. The readership is more than 45 000 heads of financial institutions from all over the world.
Awards Ceremony of the best banks is carried out on annual basis. During the ceremony financial institutions with the best activities on regional level are assigned and the leading banks from 100 countries are recognized. The winners receive a ‘Bracken' - an award trophy in the form of a statuette of Brendan Bracken - the founder of the Banker and the chairman of the Financial Times from 1945 to 1958.
