Euromoney announced Belarusbank as the best bank in Belarus

The authoritative British financial magazine Euromoney held annual reception on the occasion of declaring the winners of Awards of Excellence in London on July 8, 2010.  At a gala dinner Belarusbank gained prestigious award as "Best Bank in Belarus".

It should be mentioned that the title "Best Bank in Belarus" indicates credibility of a financial institution's policy as well as acceptance of its progress.

As to editors of Euromoney: "Belarusbank is not only the largest financial institution in its home market but is arguably also the most internationally minded of the Belarusian banks". Organisers of the event emphasized the Bank's efforts to help open up Belarus to increased foreign investment and to retain its leading position in particularly all segments of the country. Separately organizers pointed out the successful entry of Belarusbank in debt financial markets with a syndicated loan in the amount of $60 million. Bank was the first financial institution from the country to raise funds in the international markets this year that provided an important marker for other Belarusian banks to follow.
