Belarusbank and Frankfurt Stock Exchange are holding a workshop “Access to European capital market and international investors for Belorussian companies” (press-release)

Belarusbank in association with Frankfurt Stock Exchange is holding workshop on the topic "Access to European capital market and international investors for Belorussian companies" in Crown Plaza Hotel, December 3, 2008. The aim of this event is to introduce Frankfurt Stock Exchange as a listing place to enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. Within the frame of the workshop general understanding of the term capital market and of the access to European capital markets preparatory steps are going to be considered.

The main topics of the workshop are technical details of IPO process, financial statements, legal requirements and financial information. Belarusian enterprises that are interested in approaching European capital market are invited to participate in this workshop.

Frankfurt Stock Exchange representatives consider this event as a favorable opportunity to answer questions of potential issuers in association with experienced listing partners as well as to meet their representatives with the purpose of business contacts establishment and making a presentation.

Besides the organizers (Belarusbank and Frankfurt Stock Exchange) the largest investment bank (Deutsche Bank), world famous audit, law companies, investor relations company (Ernst&Young, Clifford Chance, Financial Dynamics) will present their reports. The investment company "Equinet", listing-partner of the stock exchange, will examine in details the process of the stock market approach for small-cap companies. Legal Company "Clifford Chance" will provide examples of the listing process for companies from CIS countries. Moreover, "Deutsche Bank" will introduce IPO opportunities as an alternative path for privatization in challenging market conditions.
