Last week in Frankfurt-am-Main a special workshop named “Belarusbank in Transition” was organized. In the historical suburb of one of the leading financial centers of Europe Belarusbank has gathered its strategic partners on the European financial market. During discussions the parties negotiated new concept of Belarusbank international presence and specific directions of furthering of mutual cooperation for the nearest future.
At the end of the workshop there was a signing ceremony of new 45 mln USD syndication. This project became the fifth in a row in the history of the Bank. Total amount raised in syndications (including the current) exceeded 300 mln USD.
“Despite negative market situation successful completion of a project by a Belarusian borrower has shown a high intention of international investors to cooperate with large Belarusian companies” – was the opinion of syndication arrangers: Bayern LB and Commerzbank AG (Germany).
Belarusbank being a leader in the banking sphere of Belarus is a very attractive target for investments. That’s why the conditions of the current syndication traditionally appeared to be the most favourable on the Belarusian market.
