JSC «JSSB Belarusbank» will hold a presentation in Beijing (press-release)

JSC "JSSB Belarusbank" will hold a presentation "Belarusbank - financial bridge between Belarus and China" in Beijing on the 11th of April 2008.

The presentation will be attended by government officials from The Ministry of Finance of China, The People's Bank of China, The China Banking Regulatory Commission, SINOSURE, as well as representatives of the largest Chinese banks, financial and credit institutions. Among them are Bank of China, The Export-Import Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Development Bank, major clients of JSC "JSSB Belarusbank" and Belorussian companies that have representative offices in China.

In the course of the presentation information on economic development of Belarus, situation in the banking sector of Belarus, strategy of the bank's activities on the international market and new mechanisms of cooperation with foreign financial institutions will be presented. The Bank will also present its major upcoming projects on the international debt capital market including projects with participation of Chinese partners.

The event will provide an opportunity for establishing new and expanding existing relations between Belarusian and Chinese business communities. In the context of the presentation a number of bilateral negotiations between Chinese and Belarusian companies and banks will be held.

The conference will facilitate further development of both bilateral relations and relations between Belarusian and Chinese business communities.

JSC "JSSB Belarusbank" also plans to sign a Cooperation Agreement with The Export-Import Bank of China on the 10th of April2008 in the course of the visit of Belarusbank's delegation. Thу purpose of this Agreement is to assist in establishing and developing long-term friendly cooperation relationship between our banks in order to promote the cooperation between Belarus and China and between enterprises of the two countries in economy, trade, investment and other fields.
