The Bank started issuing card products from 1998. As of the middle of February 2006 JSSB “Belarusbank” issued one million MasterCard International cards. Now Belarusbank offers to its clients a wide range of products of this system– Maestro, MasterCard Mass, MasterCard Business, MasterCard Gold.
The Bank also works with cards of Visa International and cards of National payment system BelKart. Total number of cards issued by Belarusbank exceeds 1.750 mln which amount to 54.4% of all banking plastic cards issued in the Republic of Belarus. Infrastructure of servicing the JSSB Belarusbank cards comprises 1093 of cash advance locations, 710 of public utilities payment points, 391 ABMs, and a network of 800 ATMs including ATMs of JSSB “Belpromstroibank” and National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. Besides that JSSB “Belarusbank” cardholder can pay for goods and services, provided by merchants, which amount to 4600 in the Republic.
Wide range of services is offered to JSSB “Belarusbank’s” cardholders, including opportunity of conducting instantaneous transfers in BYR from one card account to another, loan repayment, mobile and home phones payment, public utilities services payment, services of Internet providers “Atlant Telecom” and “Delovaya set”, multichannel television “Cosmos TV”, SMS – banking, SMS – notification, etc. Besides that cardholders who pay for goods in store “Karzinka” with JSSB “Belarusbank” card get discount.
