One of the world’s largest financial platforms, London Stock Exchange, hosted Belarus London Capital Markets Day. The event that was organized in association with investment company Renaissance Capital.
It was opened by Belarusian Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas. Belarus London Capital Markets Day enabled foreign investors to explore the country’s economic potential and learn more about the key players of the Belarusian market. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Alexander Egorov took part in the event.
During a panel discussion of the development of Belarus’ banking sector Alexander Egorov provided detailed information about digitalization of Belarusbank. He also spoke about the development of the mortgage lending market and Belarusbank’s international business potential.
Вelarusbank’s representatives also met with a number of foreign investors. The meetings are expected to result in the expansion of the bank’s investment portfolio and decrease the cost of borrowings.
