Belarusbank, OeKB prolong EUR 30m facility

Belarusbank and Austria's official ECA Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) on February 28, 2019 signed an agreement prolonging the existing EUR 30 million facility, thus confirming their intention to foster closer ties between Belarusian and Austrian companies. The facility will be used to finance short-term and mid-term export and import transactions between Belarusian and Austrian counterparties.

For reference:

OeKB was established in 1946 as a national export credit agency by order of the Austrian Government. The major business of OeKB focuses on insurance coverage of export loans and Austrian investments abroad. The bank’s peculiarity is a combination of functions of an ECA and a financing bank.
