A number of bilateral meetings and negotiations were conducted at the conference "Belarusbank, a reliable partner in development of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation", which took place on November 27, 2012 in Beijing.
Negotiations were held between Belarusbank and CITIC Securities, during which the organization of bridge financing for Belarusbank in the Asian capital market was discussed.

Negotiations at CITIC Securities
An important event during the conference was the meeting with the representatives of the China Development Bank (CDB) which led to signing of an inter-bank Framework Cooperation Agreement. It should be noted that Belarusbank became the first partner bank of the Interbank Association of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO IBA) with the assistance of CDB in June 2012. The Framework Agreement will be an additional stimulus for the development of mutually beneficial relations with one of the leaders in the financial market of China. During the meeting with the representatives of China Development Bank an invitation was presented to Belarusbank to take part in a topical workshop by SCO IBA to be held from January 29 till February 1, 2013 in Sanya, Hainan Province, China.
Besides, negotiations were held with China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd., the project developer of Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park, where options and financing vehicles of Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park were discussed.

During the visit a meeting between representatives of Belarusbank and GRG Banking Equipment Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) was held. To get acquainted with up-to-date equipment for the banks visit was paid to China Guangfa Bank which is considered to be one of the most advanced high-tech Chinese banks where emphasis is put on unmanned technology built on self-service principle.

The meetings with the business community of China will give a new impetus to bilateral contacts. Noteworthy is that at present Belarusbank is involved in virtually all lines of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation: raising the funds of Chinese banks for investment projects, acting as a financial agent in servicing intergovernmental loans and humanitarian agreements, settlement of payments in national currencies.
