Standard Chartered Bank awarded Belarusbank a SWIFT MT103 international bank transfer certificate for high quality of payment instructions processing. The award ceremony took place during the XVth North-West Banking Conference from 7 to 10 July 2010 in St. Petersburg. The representatives of Standard Chartered Bank underlined that according to the performance results of 2009 almost all transfers of our bank were automatic due to the professional and correct compliance with the requirements of SWIFT and correspondent banks to payment processing. Taking into account the fact that the correspondent banks charge an additional fee (average of 8 Euro per transfer) for executing unduly performed and processed manually payments Belarusbank was able to achieve considerable savings and provided uninterrupted payment transfers of its clients.
Such positive results were achieved not only by the International and Interbank Settlements Department which processes MT103 messages and controlls the compliance with the requirements to their execution but also by local subdivisions of the bank. Belarusbank would like to particularly highlight excellent performance of payment processing in Minsk Regional office as well as in the branches 510, 514, 527 and 529.
