Registration procedure for opening of representative office of Belarusbank in Beijing was completed at the end of the last week (8 June 2007). The opening of the first office representing belarusian banks in the People’s Republic of China is a logical result of development of international cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Repubic of China following a visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus to PRC in 2005.
Representative office of Belarusbank in Beijing will focus on widening contacts between financial organizations of both countries, increasing bilateral trade turnover between countries and providing assistance in financing deliveries of equipment, machinery, etc.
The representative office will begin its activity at the end of June 2007.
