Belarusbank JSSB and German bank Bayern LB on the 7th of September 2006, have signed a new syndicated loan agreement in the amount of USD 65 mln.

The successful realization of the debut loan, availability of long-term, ramified and stable business ties with foreign partners allowed the Bank to gain reputation of a reliable financial partner among foreign investors. Six months after Belarusbank’s debut on the market the foreign partners granted the second syndicated loan which significantly exceeded the initially stated amount.

Such positive entrance of Belarusbank JSSB in the international market of non-linked resources is strategically important step aimed at strengthening the Bank’s positions on the international financial markets, reaffirming its leading role in international cooperation development on the national scale, as well as indisputable proof of high trust of international investors to dynamically developing economy of the country.

21 financial institutions from 12 countries took part in the new syndicated loan. Besides Bayerische Landesbank (Germany), JSC Vneshtorgbank (Russia) and  JSC BankTuranAlem (Kazakhstan) acted as mandated lead arrangers.
