JSSB “Belarusbank” in 2005 boosted up foreign credit lines attraction. As of 1 January of the current year 50 foreign banks credit lines for the amount of USD 142 mln. were opened with the Bank. Representative offices of the Bank in Poland, Germany and Russia contribute considerably to development of cooperation with corresponding banks
The volume of settlements on foreign economic transactions of the Bank’s clients increased in comparison with the previous year almost by 30 % and amounted at USD 5.7 bln. The share of JSSB “Belarusbank” in the trade balance of the country increased up to 13.6 % or by 2.1 percentage points.
In 2006 it is planed to attract additionally not less than USD 150 mln. of foreign investments for lending of enterprises.
