Belarusbank and the Export-Import Bank of the Slovak Republic have been developing cooperation in the spheres of credit, finance and insurance for many years.
The meeting of Belarusbank’s top executives with their Slovak partners that took place in Minsk on May 30 focused on the further reinforcement of bilateral business contacts.
“Today our bank provides a wide range of financial services. We are open for cooperation and we are prepared to discuss any ideas and initiatives that will be beneficial both for the Republic of Belarus and for the Slovak Republic. We are interested in the diversification of business contacts”, said Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Aliaksandr Paliuka.
According to the deputy chairman, Belarusbank is interested in the arrangement of bank loans with the coverage of Eximbanka SR, as well as in raising finance from the Slovak partners, including that in the sphere of trade finance.
The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the sphere of loans, investments and SME, and expressed their willingness to elaborate a pipeline of projects to be implemented in the near future.
Many years of fruitful cooperation between the institutions resulted in 17 projects with Eximbanka SR coverage in the spheres of manufacturing industry, agriculture, food industry and other fields of business to the total amount of EUR 33 million. The partners are convinced that there is more to come.
