Republic of Belarus is elevated in OECD Country Risk Classification

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has elevated Republic of Belarus in the Country Risk Classification and has transferred the country from the 7th to the 6th category.

For reference:  The mission of OECD is to promote policies that improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The country risk classification foresees 8 categories (0-7). High income countries automatically belong to the category 0, all the others – are divided into the rest 7 categories. Before that Belarus has related to the 7th category.

The transfer of the Republic of Belarus to the 6th category is a proof of country’s development and consolidation of its position on the global economic area.

This change will help Belarusank to attract long-term loans under ECA Cover for the clients on more favorable conditions.
