The organization committee of the 15th International Contest ‘Choice of the Year’ named Belarusbank the winner in the “Bank No.1” nomination. ‘Choice of the Year’ medal serves as a vivid proof of the bank's stable position on the domestic financial market. The awards ceremony took place on December 9, 2016.
The choice of winners is based on the market research of consumer preferences, the opinion of an expert panel, an advertising commission, the jury and the organization committee of the contest.
‘Choice of the Year’ project was launched in Belarus in 2002. It is an annual nationwide competition that selects and promotes top quality goods and services belonging to various product categories.
The main purpose of the project is a comprehensive assessment of the quality and popularity of goods and services consumers and professional experts followed by selection of the leaders of the respective year in each nomination.
The project was initiated by Fеstivals International (USA) и European Marketing Foundation (Brussels, Belgium) under the European Chamber of Commerce Industry and Trade (Brussels). The organization committee chooses from practically all trademarks present on the domestic market, which means that around 10-20 trademarks compete in each nomination. The number of nominations grows every year.
