Belarusbank in relay of Olympic flame

Director of Plastic cards department of Belarusbank Anatoliy Bogovik became the only Belarussian representative among 12 thousand participants in world relay of Olympic flame, which precedes the XXI Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver (Canada). On January 20th he carried the torch in the town of Bunnf which is located near the capital of the Winter Games 1998 Calgary (Canada). Belarusbank was provided with a right to send its representative for participation in this honorable mission by an international payment system Visa International - the sponsor of XXI Winter Games, as a sign of respect to the country's biggest financial and credit institution, reliable and long-standing partner, the biggest card plastic issuer, the leader in all spheres of card business in Belarus. Stable and fruitful cooperation between payment system VISA and Belarusbank began in 1994. By the January 10, 2010 the bank emitted 3 986 305 cards, major part of which belongs to the international payment system Visa International. Belarusbank is also a partner of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
