Current Account Opening

List of documents to be provided to open an account

Legal entities, non-residents

1. An application form for opening an account in which the type of account is specified, signed by a person authorized to open the account;
2. A copy of an extract from the Trade Register of the non-resident's country of incorporation or any other equivalent evidence of its legal status in accordance with the legislation of the country of its incorporation (the extract should be dated not later than 1 year prior to the application completing);
3. A copy of the articles of association (other equivalent evidence of the legal status in accordance with the legislation of the country of its incorporation) on the basis of which they are valid;
4. A copy of the regulation on a separate subdivision, other similar document;^[1]
5. A copy of authorization of a Regional Executive Committee (Minsk City Executive Committee) to open a representative office, notarized or certified by the account holder;¹
6. Corporate client questionnaire.^[2]

Diplomatic mission, consular institution of a foreign state, international organization (attache office, authorized representative of an international organization) have the right to open an account against presentation of the following set of documents:

1. An application form for opening an account in which the type of account is specified, signed by a person authorized to open the account;
2. Document (copy of the document) confirming legal status in the Republic of Belarus, if its legal status cannot be observed in other official or legislative documents;
3. Corporate client questionnaire.²

Representative office of an international organization:

1. An application form for opening an account in which the type of account is specified, signed by a person authorized to open the account;
2. Document (copy of the document) confirming legal status in the Republic of Belarus, if its legal status cannot be observed in other official or legislative documents;
3. A copy of the regulation on a separate subdivision, other similar document;^[3]
4. A copy of authorization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to open a representative office, notarized or certified by the account holder;³
5. Corporate client questionnaire.^[4]

Belarusbank offers to conclude an agreement for current (settlement) account opening in Belarusian rubles or in foreign currency, either in hard copy or on the terms of public offer.

A list of authorized signatures is issued in order to perform settlements of cash deposited on accounts.
