On June 17, Belarusbank took part as a General Partner in Indian-Belarusian Business Forum Export-Import-Investments in Mumbai (India).
This Forum has brought together more than 170 representatives of businesses and entities from India and Belarus becoming a platform for discussing a wide range of issues related to the development and enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.
In their speeches the representatives of Belarusbank emphasized the special importance attached by the bank to the support of bilateral trade between India and Belarus, which is based on constant direct interaction with the Indian financial sector.
A discussion was held on current settlement mechanisms, existing challenges, as well as growth areas for expanding the partnership in the panel session «Secure Settlements and Contracts: Banking Mechanisms, Agreements and Verification of Partners. Logistics Solutions», where Belarusbank took on the role of moderator.
The Executive Director A.Amarin noted a substantial increase in trade turnover between the two countries in recent years, as well as significant potential to be realized: “Belarusbank as the largest financial group of the country is ready to provide both financial and non-financial support to the businesses of the two countries”.
