On July 1, 2026, the delegation of Belarusbank, led by Viktar Ananich, Chairman of the Board and Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee for Economy, Budget and Finances of the Council of the Republic of Belarus, kicked off a visit to Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan) to participate in the XXII Meeting of the Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium (SCO IBC).

On the first day of the visit, V. Ananich met with Ulanbek Nogaev, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC Eldik Bank (Kyrgyzstan). The parties discussed current issues of interbank cooperation, focusing on the development of support mechanisms for export-import operations in light of the growing trade turnover between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. The participants also exchanged views on areas of cooperation within the framework of the SCO IBC.
