The Banker declares Belarusbank the Bank of the year 2006 in Belarus (press-release)

The well-known economic edition “The Banker”, members of Financial Times Group, awarded Belarusbank with the “Bank of the year 2006” in Belarus. The award was given to Vladimir Novik, Deputy Chairperson of JSSB “Belarusbank”, during the ceremony in London (United Kingdom).

 

The Banker gives the “Bank of the year” award in various nominations in different regions and countries. This award is deemed to be one of the most prestigious awards in business circles indicating stable activity of the bank. The award criterion includes the financial performance of the bank as well as the development and implementation of advanced technology, strategic goals fulfillment, international market activity progress.

The awarding of the “Bank of the year” serves as confirmation of the successful activity of Belarusbank having proved itself as a true and reliable partner in Belarus and abroad. It is also pleasant to note that the awarding has concurred with the 80-th anniversary of “The Banker”.

“The Banker” ranks Belarusbank 261-st by the volume of assets among the leading European banks and places it among 50 leading banks of the Central and Eastern Europe.
