A delegation of Belarusbank headed by Deputy Chairman of the Board Viktar Perepelitsa took part in Bpifrance Inno Generation (B.I.G.) in Paris on October 11, 2018 at the invitation of Bpifrance.

B.I.G. is a key annual event demonstrating the work, achievements and the latest trends of the European ecosystem. It was first held in 2015. The event gathers representatives of financial institutions, investors, businesses, including startups, business communities and corporations.

This year B.I.G. brought together participants from 40 countries. There were arranged around 5,000 B2B meetings, 300 seminars and conferences. The participants had a chance to exchange opinions regarding the best practices of building the innovative European ecosystem and understanding business trends.

Following the signing ceremony, Viktar Perepelitsa drew the attention of the participants to the fact that “being a financial expert, Belarusbank can provide advisory services to French companies that are planning joint projects with Belarusian enterprises, inter alia resorting to the capacities of the Bank’s representative office in Germany and affiliated companies, such as ASB Leasing and ASB Consult”.

For reference: In June 2018 representatives of Bpifrance visited the headquarters of Belarusbank. The French partner expressed its readiness to accept risks of Belarusian residents. The parties agreed to cooperate with regard to financing Belarus-France projects.

During the visit Belarusbank’s delegation met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the French Republic Pavel Latushka and other representatives of the Embassy. The meeting was dedicated to a thorough discussion of a wide range of issues connected with commercial, economic, credit and investment cooperation between Belarus and France and ways to intensify such cooperation.

In addition, Belarusbank’s delegation had negotiations with representatives of several French financial institutions.
