Belarusbank welcomes delegates of international conference of trade unions

Delegates of the international conference of bank, finance and insurance trade unions titled “Social Dialogue and Tripartism in the Context of Economic Globalisation” visited Belarusbank to take part in a round table discussion. The objectives of the conference included strengthening of international cooperation between bank, finance and insurance employees, exchanging experience in the sphere of collective bargaining and developing social dialogue in the context of globalization of bank, finance and insurance industries.

According to chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Bank and Finance Employees Alexander Likhtarovich, there was a good reason why Belarusbank was chosen to be the host of the round table discussion. The largest bank of Belarus fully implements the principles of tripartism. The bank as an employer has an agreement with the United Organization of Trade Unions. The provisions of the agreement are consistently reflected in the bank’s day-to-day practice.

Delegates from South Korea, the People’s Republic of China, Malaysia, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, Moldova were keen to learn some facts from the history of Belarusbank and explore its major fields of activity. Guests placed particular emphasis on the labor conditions and social package of the bank’s employees. The relevant information was presented to them by Deputy Chairman of the Board Vladimir Zanko.

“The social component can serve as a powerful motivation for employees. Sport and health improvement, cultural and leisure activities help unite people, build up the corporate spirit, form the favorable psychological atmosphere and, consequently, it helps enhance the labor capacity and forms a positive attitude to team work”.

Guests highly appreciated the activities of the bank in the social sphere and left messages in the bank’s Book of Honorary Guests.
