International plastic cards VISA Classic and MasterCard Mass issued by Belarusbank provide an optimum mix of cost, quality and range of services. As a standard in their domain, they combine convenience and high reliability and are equally suited to all types of purchases and cash withdrawals. As for VISA Classic cards they are based on a new chip technology ensuring an increased safety of transactions.
A card account is opened in USD. At the customer's request, it may be opened in 2 (3) currencies: USD, Euro and/or BYR. The card account in 3 currencies is practical for the card holder, as he can use currency accounts to make payments abroad, and accounts in BYR when on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
International plastic cards VISA Classic and MasterCard Mass allow their holders:
- to withdraw cash at ATMs and points of cash withdrawal on a round-the-clock basis and pay without any limitations at any trade and service outlet servicing VISA and MasterCard all over the world;
- to reserve hotel rooms and air tickets or to hire a car;
- to receive monthly statements of account by e-mail;
- to do non-cash operations and use a wide range of services at Belarusbank's infokiosks, ATMs, and utility payments centers;
- to receive an extra card for a family member on attractive terms, allowing him to draw on the account;
- to use the SMS service - messages allowing to control the spending of funds from the card account;
A customer of Belarusbank who is issued a VISA Classic and MasterCard Mass card also receives a card of another payment system, Maestro or VISA Electron, on attractive terms.
