Plastic cards Maestro and VISA Electron issued by Belarusbank with an account in BYR are used only in the Republic of Belarus. They are very convenient to receive salary, scholarship, alimony, grants, dividends and other income and provide a safe way of keeping their holders' funds.
The Bank opens a card account and issues a card free of charge.
The holder of a Maestro or VISA Electron card can:

withdraw cash in BYR without a charge at Belarusbank's points of cash withdrawal and ATMs as well as at ATMs of Belpromstroibank and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus;

receive cash in foreign currency:
- at Belarusbank's points of cash withdrawal - USD an Euro;
- at Belarusbank's two-currency ATMs - USD;
- at ATMs and outlets of other banks - USD and euro;

do transactions on a round-the-clock basis and independently of the Bank's working hours;

pay for goods and services at trade and service outlets (stores, petrol stations, cafes, restaurants, canteens, drug stores, etc.);

do non-cash operations and use a wide range of services at infokiosks, ATMs, and utility payments centers;

receive a short-term credit (overdraft), as agreed with the Bank.
